The goal as stated by Intel over and over and over again is total margin DOLLARS not margin percentages. Most future business opportunities will come at lower margin percentages. Intel knows this very well but could care less as long as total margin dollars increase.

BTW, the idea of growing the business at the expense of margin percentages has been stated in every recent annual report.
