Kevin - Re: "Winbook Web Site"

I may be wrong, but I perused their web site pretty carefully.

Winbook has NO MENTION of K6 or AMD in any of their web pages.

They still offer up the 233 MHz K6 notebooks, but they do NOT ADVERTISE it as having an AMD processor.

They do splash Intel's Pentium and Pentium II names all over their Web Site.

By the way...I have heard from one source that Winbook IS DROPPING AMD as a supplier because of K6 power dissipation problems as well as general availability problems.

I suggest you check with Winbook to verify this.

Paul
