Joe, thanks for the SciAm info. If you are building a CYRX system, look at the M-Tech R581A. I put one in the office Netware server with a lowly Intel P200MMX CPU but this board was made for non-Intel chips. Voltages are in .1v increments, 1MB L2 cache, bus speeds to 90MHz, SDRAM, AGP, temp sensor, etc. You can squeeze extra performance out of today's chips and handle whatever comes along in the future. Cost: $109
