Tonight on the CBS network news, their lead story was about a new class of drugs that have a 98% cure rate of cancers in MICE. The drugs are angiostatin and endostatin. I was curious about who makes these drugs, so I used a Search Engine on ANGIOSTATIN. This is one of the sites I found:

Angiostatin Licencing

Bristol-Myers Squibb and EntreMed have announced an agreement whereby Bristol-Myers obtains exclusive worldwide licensing rights to EntreMed's developmental antiangiogenic products thalidomide, thalidomide analogs and Angiostatin. The first clinical trials on these compounds in the treatment of cancer are expected in 1996.

CBS news reported that human trials on these new cancer drugs would probably begin before the end of this year. Does anyone else have any info on this?
