I would think they could and would create euphoria when it would best serve their purpose as well? >> Why would they have to if others are doing it for them! All they have to do is get the stock to start bouncing and therefore attracking the daytraders to play the highs and lows. Since I have been at SI I have seen this happen several times where a stock starts to take off and then just as it starts to level off here come the bashers. And they do it fulltime! Non-stop. Why would anyone spend their time doing that to a stock that they do not own. I look at investing as a way to capitalize companies that create a better place to live. Therefore I have a great dis-like for shorters! Steve
