TO ALL:

La Jolla was also involved in the now infamous Comparator scandal. This was the company that was supposedly going to revolutionize ATM's, etc. with it's instant fingerprint technology. Unfortunately there was no actual product. There are other questionable ties La Jolla has, but I don't want to wind up six feet under. Found this out about 5 minutes after I posted this morning by doing a dejanews search, then an Infoseek search of the California paper that covered the story. The company was fined, etc. This does raise the question posed by someone else, i.e., maybe only allowed to sell off their penny holdings, but that's only conjecture on my part. For anyone who follows TPII thread, Alan does indeed have Level II, and is very helpful. I didn't bring this up earlier, because frankly "a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest." That having been said, I'm gonna hold on to my shares cautiously and see what transpires.

My next post will show all articles.
