Emile, I am happy to have this discourse with you concerning these things. First, I do not omit the vowel in reverence to G-d, for God does not need me to uphold reverence for Him.
Second, I would have to say truthfully that I took for granted the belief that the new covenant superseded the old. It is with my current studies, that I now see where God NEVER ended the first covenant. By the contrary, He promises that He would never break His covenant with Israel! I'm sorry that I do not have scriptural references, however, you can check the following link hopefortoday.org and see if you can find the argument Dr. Hocking puts forth. It is from his teaching that I have come to this belief. It is a minority belief in Christianity.
Again, I apologize that I do not have scriptural references, I have been convicted and challenged and will do my DD and have an argument prepared ASAP. (I have been trying to get to several other sites with no luck tonight.)
Third, you are zealous for God and have displayed a spirit toward some that I would categorize as "being in the flesh". Hey, we are all capable of this manifestation when we believe we are right. So I would not take my statement as an attack on your character, but merely as an observation. I'm taking it upon myself to go back and read all your posts on this tread. Don't know how long that's going to take me since I see you have 2790 total post on SI.
I Cor. 13:4-7
Love in Christ
