As a bottom-fishing, long-term investor semi equipments have me entranced right now and Tencor especially. With earnings of $2.25 (based on Mike's confirmation of 60 cents for this quarter) a PE of 7.7 suggests there can't be much downside risk here for a quality company in an industry projected to grow 30% this year. Or can there? How solid are the industry growth forecasts? Dissenting views? And does anyone know what TNCR is projecting longer-term?
