Unfettered, cut-throat capitalism ultimately serves neither the public, the corporation nor the stockholder.

When Microsoft mandates the bundling of IE with their dominant OS it is overstepping the monopolistic line.

Antitrust regulators are there to make rules that protect the public, and no, we haven't had laissez-faire capitalism since the great Republican trustbuster Teddy Roosevelt.

CPQ will do fine without Microsoft gorging on yet more high tech profitcenters. I'd worry more about Microsoft dictating to boxmakers if it got all-powerful.
