Cut throat capitalism is what made this country the economic superpower it is today despite the attitudes of those like yours. If what you say is true shouldn't things like Paint, Wordpad or Dialer be removed? Don't those products compete with someone else? Or how about some of the games that come with the operating system and Fax and Multimedia applications. What about all the system tools? Every one of those products can be purchased from viable companies today and yes they are viable. The point is you choose to use or not use those products just like you choose to use or not use IE. What is wrong with that? You have the choice.
