THE FINAL NAIL; I.E. NEWS ON THE JOHN HOPKINS DEAL:
Well; as we all know it started like this; July 12th, SEXI announced today that it has received, through its value added reseller ICE Communications, Inc., multiple orders of several hundred thousand dollars each in video teleconferencing equipment to be delivered to John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md.. "We are happy to have found such a versatile, quality product," said Dr. Louise Kavoussi, M.D., Associated Professor of Urology and Director of Brady Urological Institute, John Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
I believe Dr. Louise was quoted out of context; here's why.
Having had enough I called John Hopkins today(410-550-7008) and found that there IS a Dr. Louis Kavoussi. They put me through to his secretary, Lisa, since he is out of town this week. Lisa stated she has been told to direct all SEXI queries to a Fred of ICE at 703-478-0309, ext. 212. I called Fred and surprise, surprise, reached him. I guess I was the first because he wasn't aware of today's SEXI events(or he faked it well).
I quoted the above July 12th news release and he said it was wrong. He stated that ICE has been testing Telesurgery at John Hopkins University(and have actually done remote surgeries), BUT THEY'RE NOT USING SEXI EQUIPMENT in any tests, they're using other manufacturers equipment. He stated that ICE has been evaluating SEXI equipment but there's no formal contract with John Hopkins for SEXI gear. He stated that they had seen the July 12th news release and both John Hopkins and ICE Communications had written SEXI formally asking for a retraction of the release. All in all, ICE & John Hopkins ain't pleased with SEXI, no sir. He further stated that the SEC has/had been talking with ICE about SEXI so I'm sure the SEC knows a lot more about all this.
That about sums it up. It's clear that Hutto had this all planned from the beginning; pumped up the stock price with fradulent press releases; fradulent financial releases, and used the inflated period to reap HUGH gains which, I'm sure, he's off in Aruba somewhere counting his stolen profits. We've been burned and some have been burned bad. Aw, well, I needed the tax writeoff this year, guess this is it. My condolences to everyone here. It looks like it pays to verify each and every press release any company makes before "jumpin' in the pool."
