<<The Teleport comp. Purchased by ATT for $11 B. As stated previously by others, if WinStar continues to execute, they will blow through Teleport's figures for buildings on-net and lines installed in approximately a year.>>

Wireless Wonk,

I appreciate your technical engineering expertise on Yahoo, but the aforementioned argument is bogus. Teleport services very large office buildings with revenues per line much greater than those "serviced" by WinStar. WinStar services third and fourth rate buildings with revenues per line one-fifth to one-tenth the amount generated by Teleport lines. There is no comparison between the two companies' revenue potential. To use a restaurant analogy, Teleport's average revenue per line is Lutece, WinStar's average revenue per line is McDonalds.
