Omega Research's TradeStation 5 And OptionStation 5 To Support DBCCs Signal

First Time that Omega Research Software Will Support Real-Time Internet Data


"...Omega Research, Inc. (Nasdaq: OMGA - news) announced today an arrangement with Data Broadcasting Corporation (Nasdaq: DBCC - news) to develop compatibility between the recently-previewed Version 5 of Omega Research's investment analysis software and DBC's recently-launched Signal Online 4.0 Internet financial market data service. The arrangement between the companies marks the first time that Omega Research investment analysis software will support streaming, real-time market data delivered through the Internet. It is expected that versions of Omega Research's TradeStation 5 and OptionStation 5 compatible with Signal Online service will begin shipping by late summer 1998. Omega Research's current versions of TradeStation and OptionStation have supported DBC's Signal and BMI broadcast data services for many years.
