Dave, when someone shorts, they are basicly borrowing your shares, they dont take phisical possesion of them but if your broker has say 10,000 shares sitting there they are subject to being shorted if he does not have them, he cant lend them out. I dont even have my shares, but i am now going to call my broker and ask for them. I dont no who you trade with, but my broker has a policy that i can sell at any time, but i have to get the shares to them within 3 business day, so i can sell immediatly, but ill need to next day mail the shares to them.. Also im not really up on teleck or whatever the the hell it is, but there is a good chance this is part of the reason for recent decline. I still cant see shorting a stock under 1, can you?
