I believe ORCL and SAP will focus more on the data warehousing, customer segmentation part of the equation than the customer-facing applications. They can leverage their information links without the risk of entering an area they don't know nearly as much about.

All this talk about SEBL, SCOP, CLFY , VNTV doesn't take into account any new entrants. This is an area that will see some upstarts IMHO, and we should look for the possibility that someone else will do to CIS what SEBL did to SFA -- come from nowhere.
