Terrence, I know this post wasn't addressed to me and I hope you don't mind my responding, but the discrepancy between what you write and the behavior of you and John Galt is too great to be ignored. I went back and read some of your posts and perhaps I owe you an apology for placing you in the sanitarium with John Galt. You seem more reasonable and more consistent in your adherence to the philosophy of objectivism than he. Indeed I wonder at your allegiance to John who does not in any way personify Rand's depiction of the total person. But to hear you refer so loftily to the sexual act as "one of the greatest expressions of intimacy and sharing" and then to read your and particularly John's, (whom you profess to revere) dehumanizing and derogatory innuendos about this relationship makes me cringe. Your often cruel and unprovoked attacks on people only diminish your impact--indeed, I thought I was an admirer of objectivism until John's behavior made me question my understanding of it. Anyway, your post to Christine made me think you might actually be sane after all. penni
