Kerm / Inventories

Poor guy -- the only thing worse than having to forecast is having someone
write down your forecast and refer back to it later. Been there.

If I recall, wasn't the overwhelming consensus that prices would fall later in the year?
Maybe companies simply believed that rebuilding inventories at "artificially" high
prices didn't make sense when Iraqi oil was sure to drive the price down. One thing's
for sure -- if this winter is anything like the last one, prices have to stay high for a while longer.

Bit of a selloff in some of our favourites -- Genesis, Barrington. ls it just
people adjusting their tax positions ahead of year end, or did I miss something?

Talk to you Tuesday.
