All: Robertson Stephens also lowered estimates-

BOSTON, Nov 8 (Reuter) - Robertson Stephens & Co analyst Dan Klesken said he cut his fiscal 1997 estimates on PRI
Automation Inc to $2.35 per share from $2.55 per share.

Klesken said the company issued "cautious tones" about the year ahead, and warned about pressures on revenue growth and
margins.

Klesken said he also cut his estimates for fiscal 1997 revenues to $165 million from $175 million, but still has a buy on the
company because he the company has a strong franchise and essentially only one competitor.

"The shares are taking a beating today. They're down this morning as I, and I believe others, are lowering their earnings
estimates," Klesken said.

PRI shares were down 4-3/4 at 33-3/4 in late morning trade.

Earlier, PRI reported fourth quarter earnings per share of $0.49 per share, below Wall Street consensus forecasts of $0.50 per
share.
