Monday May 4, 11:14 am Eastern Time RESEARCH ALERT - Ultralife started as buy NEW YORK, May 4 (Reuters) - Lehman Brothers said Monday it initiated coverage of Ultralife Batteries Inc. with a buy rating. -- Lehman sees enormous growth potential over the next several years, fueled by highly promising lithium-ion solid polymer rechargeable batteries. -- The company is in a good position to win supply agreements with a number of original equipment manufacturers. -- Ultralife should reach profitability in the third quarter of fiscal 1999. -- An earnings estimate of $0.30 was set for fiscal 1999, and $2.00 in 2000.
