I.m new to the thread. I'd appreciate references or comments targeted at the nature of the danger to general electrical outages and possible collapse of the network as happened in NY in the '60s when a switch blew near Niagara Falls.

I'd read all the back posts, but I'm overwhelmed as an active poster on several net stock boards.
