"My prediction is (and will remain so until I am proven wrong) that someone or some entity will buy Cirrus, Sell off the Mass Storage business for ~$500 million, sell of Crystal for ~$500 million, dump the remaining garbage and pocket a few hundred million. Seems like simple math to me."

I agree with the math however the fab usage agreements complicate a buyout. Perhaps a sign of an impending buyout would be a further revision of those agreements to allow CRUS an easier out.

On the products side it appears that CRUS stands a chance in the DVD game (must see design wins). But Wall Street hates this management and it appears that management hates shareholders. When do managements' options come on line - would we see a deal before then?

For the record I am only carrying a small loss on this one but my true loss is the dead money; the opportunity cost. I will continue to be frustrated until this management starts to act in the interest of the shareholders.

I am holding because of the cash position, the recent good earnings, my hopes for design wins, and the presence of Mr. Teo. He has a good track record and it is my hope that he will act on our behalf. I don't know about any shareholder rebellion but if I get a proxy asking me to re-elect current management I will vote against it.

Good investing,
John
