Eric: Regarding efficient utilization of Novell's resources vis-a-vis investor relations.

Novell maintains a pretty extensive Web site that provides financial data, news and press releases, product support--information and files, and a lot more. However, I did not see a section that dealt with Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) by the investors. This would be a fairly easy item for Novell to add and would prevent duplication of effort both from the investors and Novell.

An example is the response Scott Phillips received from Peter Troop. Peter Troop answered approximately six questions, posed by Scott, in a reasonable and somewhat detailed manner. Even though the answers may not have been what everyone wanted, they were reasonable and informative -- in my opinion.

So, how about encouraging Investor Relations at Novell to maintain a site of investor FAQ's? I believe it would enhance the pool of information available to the shareholders and might reduce the number of "1-800" calls to Investor Relations (they cost money too).

Regards,

Elmo
