<OT> A tight spread on a stock thats moving is good for a day trader. A day trader wants to make money off the volatility either up or down in a stock. In our case they would want to buy low and sell higher. A day trader doesn't want a stock to just lay flat during the day like we are. They want something with volatility like a KTEL that they can get in and out on the same day with a profit. So the MM's are discouraging day trading by keeping the intraday range relatively flat.
