jfred, as i explained to jgalt previously, determinism is the rule as far as the true understanding of quantum mechanics is concerned. the problem is that neither you nor maurice know quantum mechanics. determinism means that the basic laws of nature are definite. you just mention meaningless words (as you so well noted in your post), but can't possibly comprehend quantum mechanics since you guys just do not know prerequisite math. then, again, as i posted previously, people tent to confuse fundamental indeterminacy (which does not exist) with percieved randomness as observed in complex systems, where "randomness" is not fundamental, but rather is a consequence of human observer's limited knowledge of complex systems and their attributes, such as "initial conditions".
