I agree. I think that the Entremed news is certainly encouraging, but even if the FDA rushes through this, it will be years before the drug is available. Also, it will be necessary to use other drugs in combination to help the ENMD drug out. The stock that is now in the 50's will soon be back in the 20's or even teens as people tire of the hype and want results. LGND does indeed have compounds that have antiangiogenic properties. It also has a much broader set of disease indications for which it is pursuing drugs. It will take some time, but this company will be a powerhouse. I think that all the naysayers will eventually eat their words. If you want instant money, go elsewhere, but if you want a very good medium to long term bet, stay with Ligand. Dan
