Paul, A good move for Intel. I'm not sure I buy the "unexpected improvements in manufacturing processes", though. Most likely the Celeron's miserable reception and the continued growth of the low end segment embarassed Intel into devoting more resources to develop Mendocino ahead of schedule. Kevin
