Mr. Dahl's purchases helped lift the stock unexpectedly last year, when I started this thread (I couldn't figure the sudden jump in price/volume).

I can imagine that management is glad to see him drop to 5%: they set a poison pill in response to his purchases; see sec.gov

While William Gehl and now James Dahl have been busy selling out, John Gehl has been holding on, if not actively buying, making at least a qualified endorsement of the company's prospects. I probably will follow that lead, holding my position for now.

If the stock price drops markedly as Dahl unwinds, in the absence of major changes, GEHL'd be attractive, epecially with some insider buys. Given my exisiting position, I'm a buyer only at substantial discounts to 'fair value' -- i.e., not yet.
