I have heard (although I don't think there's any definitive way of knowing one way or the other) that _many_ of those NT sales displace Netware or MS's other operating systems rather than Unix. Thus, NT is being used as a kind of high-end Win-95 rather than as a workstation OS (workstation in the traditional sense, that is -- of course, Microsoft seems to be trying their hardest to blur the distinction between a wordprocessing desktop and a workstation -- in MSFT-speak /in their advertising / a workstation is anything used to do work +/-). JMHO.
