You bet. This constant drumbeat of negative articles about Fleming must be orchestrated by somebody high-up in one of the big firms, probably a board member. Nothing gives me greater hope for the future than the thought we might soon be rid of this particularly unsuitable, incompetent, and arrogant person. His two highest hand-picked staff have left him, several venerable senior staff have had their fill of him and left, middle management lives in terror of his next move, and the 'grunts' at the exchange mock him. He is attempting 'empire-building' at the TSE, and believe me, this does not go well with the big hosses at the brokerages and banks. People are sharpening their knives for him, and I hope they get him soon.
ABX didn't take long to prove me wrong on Friday. Gold collapsed through its support at $307.50 (June), and ABX puked right along with it. I bailed as soon as it did and came out OK. That's one of the advantages of being a trader and not an investor. Two mouse clicks and I'm gone (when the system works, that is). (40,40)
Ballard has indeed formed a pennant, with decreasing oscillation and declining volume. I usually take this as a severe negative. We'll see. Whichever way it breaks out of the pennant, it should have a big move.
