Hi Travis , welcome , and I have questions on Dr Gil's book Have enjoyed your YAHOO contributions and the other insightful posters there . On Gil Amelio's (GA) "On the Firing Line" are you able to determine : Did GA reject but then use S. Jobs plan to replace Spindler as CEO ? Did GA have distracting financial obligations ($5 mln AAPL loan) ? Did GA sell (sold after firing) AAPL stock while CEO ? Did GA commute to Apple by plane from his Lake Tahoe investment ? Did M. Markkula charge GA $17k/mo for servicing GA's plane ? Does GA credit Ellen Hancock for justifying the NeXT purchase ? Does GA discuss Avie T. and M. Mandich's stock selling habits ? Did GA consider deferring his 4Q profit bonus due to 1Q97 losses ? The book is written from GA's perspective , but he along with Hancock deserve much credit for implementing AAPL's recovery . While you are reading it , if you could determine and supply the answers to these questions , which should be of general investor interest , I will be most grateful . Thanks in advance, Jim K.
