One thing I can say about Clinton and Bush is that they recognize the importance of high-tech. One or the other or both visit Silicon Valley several times a year, and quite often they have dinner with electronics industry execs. The California Cafe in Los Gatos hosted one of them three or four years ago. Of course, Bill now has Chelsea to visit at Stanford, also.

In contrast to the current Pres., V. Pres., there was a woman who held a key position during the Bush administration (forget her name) that, when someone was talking the importance of the computer chip business, said "Computer chips, potato chips, what's the difference." Rocket scientist, huh?
