Yes, I think we're all a little racist, and all subject to racism at the same time, whether we ever experience it directly or not. It stems from fear of the unknown, imho, and travelling is the best and maybe only way to experience the feeling of being the object of racism, which imho is a very useful and educational experience.
We're travelling here, on SI. We can post from anywhere on the planet that has internet access. And we're all quite equal - about a quarter of an inch high, for those whose login has capitals. Less for you and me, of course, but so far no one has a discrimination campaign against lowercasers -g-
Re 'atheist ministers' - I wonder if the term should be 'agnostic ministers' - 'atheist' as I understand it means one who denies the existence or the possibility of existence of an intelligent creative force. This imho is not logical - there is no more evidence to support the theory of non-existence than there is to support any particular religion's conceptual design of this force. At the same time, the intricacy of life forms and the ordered interplay of matter and energy seem to me to open up the strong possibility of such a force. But I do not know the nature nor design nor name of this force, and I don't believe anyone else does either, so by the way I understand the definitions of the words, that makes me an agnostic. Which word comes from the Greek agnost(os), meaning 'not known, or incapable of being known'.
Glorious spring day here, life just bouncing out of the ground .... life is good, ¨s¡?
