Interprettion is an interesting thing. Yours and my interpetation of DLL's post are entirely different.
I interpreted his post as an invitation to open my mind to Jesus, that by doing nothing more than opening my mind, I will begin a journey with christ. I believe he is saying that by opening my mind and beginning the journey, the rest will come, through his love.
It was a very warm and welcome invitation. I must add, from the perspective a non-christian, it was much more tempting to hear an invitation that is based on warmth and love, than it is to hear one that is full of isolation, supremacy, and vitriol.
