Applied Computer Technology Awarded U.S. Air Force Academy for
Fourth Consecutive Year

FORT COLLINS, Colo., May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Applied Computer Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACTI), a systems integrator
and manufacturer of complete, customized computer systems, announced today that it has been awarded the annual contract to
provide computers to the incoming freshman at the United States Air Force Academy located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The Contract, which is worth approximately $2.5 million dollars, will provide 1200 computers to the Academy's incoming
freshman class this August. This is the fourth consecutive year that Applied Computer Technology has been chosen to provide
computers to the incoming class and will be the first time that all 4 classes will be represented by one vendor.

In responding to the award, Bud Prentice, President & CEO of Applied Computer Technology said, "We are extremely
pleased to once again have the opportunity to provide computers to the U.S. Air Force Academy and to the incoming cadets.
