Integrated Medical Resources Founder & Former C.E.O.
Troy Burns Appointed President and Will Continue as
Chief Medical Officer; Former C.O.O. Scott Jenkins
Transitions to Board-Only Duties

Both executives instrumental in building leading national network of
impotence treatment clinics which are now ideally positioned at forefront of
Pfizer's introduction of revolutionary Viagra(R) pill

LENEXA, Kan., May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Integrated Medical Resources, Inc. (Nasdaq: IMRI -
news), manager of the leading national network of providers of treatment for impotence, announced
its Board of Directors has made two executive changes, effective immediately.

Troy A. Burns, M.D, 36, has been appointed President in addition to his ongoing duties as the
Company's Chief Medical Officer and National Medical Director of IMR's managed network of
impotence clinics. He will also continue as a Director of the Company. Dr. Burns is founder of IMR
and previously served as the Company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for the past three
years prior to the Board's appointment of E. Stanley Kardatzke, M.D. to those positions as
announced on April 22, 1998.

T. Scott Jenkins, 37, previously President and Chief Operating Officer of IMR, has decided to
transition to Board-only duties to allow him to pursue additional business opportunities. He will
remain a Director of the Company and has been retained in a consulting capacity by the Board.
Jenkins joined the Company in 1992 as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer, and
became President and Chief Operating Officer in 1995.

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer E. Stanley Kardatzke, M.D. commented: ''Both Troy Burns
and Scott Jenkins have been instrumental in building Integrated Medical Resources into the
country's leading network of impotence treatment clinics. Their many contributions, particularly
during IMR's evolution as a public company since November 1996, are greatly appreciated and we
look forward to their further guidance and insights afforded by these new and continuing roles.''

Added Kardatzke: ''As a result of Troy and Scott's efforts, the Company stands at the crossroads
of this historic point in medical science when innovative new treatments are being developed for the
treatment of impotence, most recently Pfizer's Viagra pill. Since appropriate and effective treatment
depends on accurate diagnosis of the cause of each patient's impotence and because the underlying
cause may sometimes indicate a more serious medical problem, IMR is ideally positioned to fulfill
the needs of this largely untapped market where the total annual revenue potential for treatment,
counseling and related products and services has been estimated at up to $5 billion. Without IMR,
many of the more than 55,000 patients who have been successfully treated as a result of the
services provided by The Diagnostic Centers for Men might still be needlessly suffering from
impotence.''

About the Company

Integrated Medical Resources, Inc. provides complete management services to physicians who
offer comprehensive diagnostic, educational and treatment services designed to address the medical
and emotional needs of its patients and their partners through the largest network of medical clinics
in the U.S. dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of impotence. The Company believes that this
market is largely underserved due to misconceptions about the causes of impotence, a general lack
of specialized knowledge by primary care physicians regarding treatment alternatives, and the
limited focus on impotence by medical specialists.

The number of impotent men in the U.S. is estimated to exceed 24 million, and this total is projected
to increase by approximately 400,000 new cases each year as the baby boomer generation ages.
Although patients suffering from impotence can range in age from 18 to over 90, the Company's
target marketing focus is the estimated 14 million men ages 40 to 70 who suffer from moderate to
complete impotence.

Viagra(R) is a trademark of Pfizer Inc.
