If somebody knows more than me, I don't have any reason to prefer ignorance. Often enough I find that the experts and high and mighty don't really have the word at all. I am always able to sort out what they are on about and understand it in my own little deterministic intermal model.

Learning doesn't require work. Learning is fun. I don't recall you apologizing for your limitless arrogance - do you have that?

Chimp, engineers get to do a lot of maths. That's why electrons fly nicely round the world and buildings rarely fall down and 747s fly round the world without falling down. We even get your precious quantum mechanics fed to us so that we have a broad understanding of the physical world. No doubt all this experience leads me to prefer the quanitifiable, the reality tested and the objective. Mysticism does not hold rocket fuel stable in its container and launch rockets round the world so that Incy Wincy aerials can collect a few stray photons and convert them to sound intelligible to people anywhere on earth.

But don't you go away. I'll be back. With some rope.
