BOB,

If GTIS closes below 8 7/8 to 9 1/8 on any reasonable volume at this point, I would be concerned that it could retrace to the previous support level and play the ~7 to ~9 shuffle again. I would imagine that it will be able to hold support and bounce here however, particularly given the string of PRs as Buddy noted on the thread, coupled with CGDC and E3 just around the corner. I was not encouraged by the break below current support recently, though... remember that "Today's support is tomorrow's resistance"! <ggg>

Technically, it is quite oversold here, and barring any negative PRs (why now?), I would consider this a good time to add to a position, or initiate one unless the weakness continues into the next session. I would not be a buyer if it falls below the aforementioned level at ~9 particularly in light of the general market bullishness recently. It appears poised for a reversal here, but if it falters, I will leave it alone to shake out further temporarily.

Options players who wrote shorter term calls on the last run should be very happy at this point, as May expiry will precede E3 which is an added bonus. :) I don't want to turn this into the "GTIS OPTIONS THREAD" as it is pretty boring for those who don't play that game...but I have a couple of ideas that I will share with anyone off thread should there be any interest in that sort of chat, assuming that we hold support tomorrow and reverse. Otherwise, those with protective puts purchased at the 10-11 range should be quite pleased with themselves! :)

For those into fundies, check this site for stats up the kazoo. Note the institutional ownership and insider information listed:

marketguide.com

The most recent EDGAR activity seems to be a form S-3 filed on May 1st, so I imagine that the marketguide data is somewhat dated? Anyone with info on this, please post. Thanks.

I am interested to see what transpires tomorrow, and why the weakness today in light of the good news. Seems that a lot of the gaming stocks are not performing well in spite of the market, and that is rather disconcerting given that this is their time to shine, IMO. Hmmmm...we could speculate...<ggg>...but I cannot imagine that earnings would disappoint given all of the revised estimates in the techs of late. Is there a possibility that the management changes were not well received, or is it just that Scott finally bailed at 11 and tanked the stock having finally broken even?? LOL

So many questions, so few answers...and to this end, I noted your comment, BOB:

<<I've been thinking of maybe shipping a bullwhip and a Cat Woman suit
to Victoria for E3 with the express purpose of intimidation to find the answer to this one.>>

Wow! Just when I was worrying myself sick over how I should properly accessorize the black leather miniskirt in order to make the most memorable of impressions upon a certain someone in a few weeks [wink wink wink] it's BOB to the rescue!! You're really in the fashion, not gaming sector, no? hehehe

You can trust me to fulfill the latest "GTIS - Will it be a Phoenix or not?" thread mission with a passion. Let's simply band together, compile a nice, concise listing of questions that we would like to have answered, and then when I stop by booth #5626 at E3, I will do my best to weasel the information out of the nice folks at GT in the least painful way possible for all concerned. ;) (HI GUYS!! You've been warned!!)

Methinks that the bullwhip will be a nice addition to the diamond studded LASER photon blaster. I'll be sending you my address via email, and looking for the UPS man later this week...<gggg> (Chocolates are also a nice touch, btw... LOL)

In parting, you also commented that,

<<I think we should have a name change contest (you'd love that!) and help GT out.>>, so I offer the following for GTIS' IR crew to consider:

A new identity could really be great
Help steer away from precarious fate
Hmmm...let us see
"Numb Nuts, Inc." it could be
"GTI" is just too second rate!

Ta ta!

xoxo,
V.
