LT...I'm more in the correction camp vs. the full-on bear brigade. My reasoning is living in the house with me. My girlfriend of the last 12 years has a good high paying job in Silicon Valley. Her 401K money goes directly into Fidelity Funds. Does she want to sell? No way...This decision is not made by experience or intelligence [glad she doesn't read this], but rather a "herd" mentality. This reasoning is willing to take a 10-20% correction, and stand pat. These folks are looking at a 10 year investment which is totally opposite to my adopted approach to the market. Yes, I do see interest rates going up. I am on the front lines of the interest rate battle, being in real estate as my daily job. The real estate market could absorb a rate hike, and in fact it would be healthy for the over-inflated market of N.Calif....Clinton was probably "prepping the troops" today.
