Off topic- personal experience.

P.M. Benjamin Nathanyahu walks in with his wife on 7th floor executive lounge of Grosvenor House, where me and my boss were the only people munching some great selection of some nice sandwiches.

Must have been a nightmare for the security guards to see two total strangers sitting next to the Israeli Prime Minister. The wife is short and cute. Mr Yahu seems to be unable to conquer the battle of bulge around his waist. Mr Yhahu ate from the assortments on the table, for afternoon tea I thought it was rich.

I was wondering if he would prefer some caviar over salmon but could not really see it. I could today imagine the power of media and what it has wrought for us- the Israeli PM looked very familiar face, seeing him in my living lounge every night is one thing but someone walking in like that was a thrilling experience.

May be it is not as exciting for some of you but seeing the characters who are making history is great experience. Mr Arafat stays in Churchill and must have equally big paraphanalia of security.

As we saw the guards getting little tense with our presence, we were tense also as two of them were right on our heads watching our every move, caviar sandwiches turned sour, the gaze of so many guards was unbearable. We decided to leave the lounge, but I did say to Mr and Mrs Nathanyahu Good evening, I noticed the lady replied anxiously but Mr Yahu was more reserved but shook his head. I hope they agree on something good for the region a failure would be tragedy for this very volatile area.
