Apple Acquires Technology From Macromedia

CUPERTINO, Calif., May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Apple Computer, Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL - news) today stated that it has acquired technology from Macromedia, Inc. (Nasdaq: MACR - news) to enhance future versions of its widely used QuickTime software. The move is part of Apple's efforts to make QuickTime the industry standard for digital video authoring and playback on personal computers and over the Internet.
