My vote is: You takes your chances when picking in every way. Something happens good or bad, it is the nature of the beast. Their picks should be allowed to continue in the contest, with an adjustment for a consolidation or dilution. Just say for the sake of argument everyone has purchased 1000 shares at the beginning of the month and needs to still have 1000 at the end. If someone gets an advantage through a consolidation, it will not be the new consolidated price just the quote divided by the consolidated amount of shares [ie. a stock at 10 cents is consolidated 1 for 10 and the new price at the end of the month is $1.50 then the gain is 5 cents to 15 cents realizing a 50% profit]. That is fair, but may make a little more work for you, if it ever happens.
