no additional charges .... or so I'm told...I'll be checking in with them tommorrow.

I was hoping it would include this service too, but, alas, you still gotta pay for the regular line use, and any of those little extras you want on it like caller id etc.

They should do pretty good with this. I might too as I just tallied up the last year of my online charges for all the services I'm on and it averages almost $100/month....so this'll be great...only problem is I'll have to keep at least one of IBM Advantis or Compuserve so I can still get access when travelling.

from what I was told today, we're the first telco in Canada to offer this. We have access here to cable access as well but I don't think it can come near this what with speed crawling once all the neighbors get onto their accounts, and the problem of security when you are basically broadcasting over cable past all other users' machines rather than ADSL where its a one to one connection.
