John,

I guess your premise that men who fail on Viagra will not even bother trying MUSE is where the whole Vivus arguement rests. If your theory is correct then I say Vivus will perish.

Everyone has their ideas. If I were impotent and failed on Viagra I would certainly at least give MUSE a try.

Your assumption is that men are lazy or don't care too much about sex.

My assumption is that men have been ashamed and have not even discussed their disorder with their doctor until the Viagra news made ED a socially acceptable problem.

Certainly there will be men who will fail on Viagra and MUSE.

If they really want sex and are willing to stick themselves with a needle then plan C will also be available.

I still feel that Viagra is over hyped and over rated as an effective cure for organic ED (not saying it won't help a significant percentage of organic ED cases). I believe that Viagra's main sales will be as an erection enhancer for men who wish to prolong there ability to maintain an erection but who are not impotent.
