You were missed! Perhaps you'll come to NYC for the Expo?

Yeah, I gave over 50MB to Communicator and over 30MB to Navigator and then I decided maybe I'd given them too MUCH RAM, so I took some back. I have over 300MB real RAM and don't use Virtual. They start out by quitting silently and end up giving error messages. I keep trashing prefs for Finder and Nav. Nothing's working and it's stressful. Sometimes AOL is named, sometimes the Finder, sometimes, Outlook, which I often use for mail when I'm using plain Nav instead of Communicator. Different apps are blamed all the time by the error messages, when I even get an error message. I need to find a troubleshooting site and not use this thread for this. It's not the G3; when I tried to up the 3400 from 7.6.1 to 8.1 the same thing happened and I went back to 7.6.1. It might be a conflict of some kind among things I considered essential. If it were happening to everyone, Apple really would be out of biz, right?
