Don't underestimate the interest in ENMD. I just watched the rebroadcast of PBS's News Hour. It was testimony to the uniqueness of ENMD's products and the cautious optimism surrounding this latest round of media attention.

ENMD's support has four primary bases:

1) Momentum players with dollar signs in their eyes flipping like slot machines. Obviously, this is the table's weakest leg -- although shorts seem to see it as the only support. OK, that's debatable.

2) Mutual Fund money managers afraid to be left out of one of the century's greatest (and most profitable) discoveries. Explain to investors at yearend why you totally missed the boat on ENMD, the Microsoft, Intel and Dell of Biotech for 1998. It's easier to throw some money at it now than risk missing the ride. Too long a timeframe? AOL: can you say a PE of 700? I thought you could. Analysts falling all over themselves recommending AOL as a buy/market outperform. Talk about looking to the far horizons. Whhewwww.

3) Public sentiment. This is huge. People want the promise of ENMD to be true. Yeah, yeah . . . we won't know for years . . . but to be able to say you have had a part of this company that will supply this gift to humanity -- it becomes a holy crusade, not an investment decision.

4) Old fashioned, farsighted investors with risk tolerance. We can wait.
