To anyone with networking expertise, Well, I wouldn't say I'm a dial up expert but here's my comments anyway. Make sure data compression is enabled on your modem link. I think all V.32 and higher modems support MNP5 compression. If you're using compression, zipping the files ahead of time may not help much because zipped files aren't going to be compressed very much more by the modem's link compression. mdb
