CA would not have done the deal unless SW adds significant value to Unicenter - don't forget Unicenter is CA's flagship product - it is what their future is banking on - he would not take such a step lightly - of course, he is human and can make mistakes.

He obviously sees the potential and thinks it will help him in his competition with IBM/Tivoli. I believe the CA/SW deal is non-exclusive. If SW also aligns with Tivoli, would have the 2 best products with the largest market shares and would own the corporate helpdesk market through the management platforms of CA and IBM. There would be no more worlds to conquer and so it is a matter of supporting the product as the royalties roll in.

Deb is beginning to deliver on her commitments.
