Could it be that because Viagra has been out for only a few weeks the vast majority of those 200K men per week do not yet need to come back for refills? Even so the Viagra figures for refills seem very low.

For Muse, if there are 3-4K new Rxs per week and this has been going on for a year or so, why are there only the same number of refills per week. Is it because the packs last a long time - ie most men would only need a few refills a year or are a very substantial number of men not coming back. If the latter, this makes the Viagra figures even more frightening for PFE. I believe the potential market is very big, so can someone explain the script data to me.

Given that so many men suddenly try out Viagra, I am surprised that Muse has not been completely swept away, but the sales are down only 50% or so. Someone on this thread said that his pharmacist said that all the muse men had changed to viagra and he was waiting to see whether they came back. Well 3800 men came back for muse refills compared with only 5000 the week before viagra was released according to the IMS figures.
