Zeev I did writethat screenplay. It was to be shot at the Dovzhenko studios, the oldest studios in Europe: at one point I had a $20 million letter of credit to go forward. Truely.

Only a minor problem - the financing of a film is always the big problem - was a perception that my screenplay was a dark, terrible vision and not a comedy. Well. Is Titanic a love story? An adventure? Or, a clever market career move by a director who didn't have a major hit in ten years?

Not that adverse criticism bothers me. It has just never been so black and whit, this or that, in the case of this particular screnplay. The problem with feature films aka films that play in movie theaters.... is that most often the script becomes of secondary importance and what people are doing really is filming a great deal!!
