Rob,
So many sellers are steadfastly prointel that this thing is going to take some time. The intial craze for the C6 was probably from supertechies and chance buyers. Even my local discount hole in the wall seller has never heard of the winchip and recommends only intel. The computer systems installer our company uses is a walking advertisment for intel. And their parts are good I have to say. I found an intel pentium 75 in the trash and installed it in a cheapo system and it worked. My own computer has a P75 that's been working well for over two years which is a lot more than I can say for the rest of the parts in the system. Tuna is right about the migration to .25. IDTI was too slow. The price of the chip must come down dramatically soon. It will I think. Perham needs to light a fire... OR/AND demand for chips has to explode from nowhere to carry demand way beyond supply. Judging from insider activity and industry expectations this latter may be the real thing we should focus on.
